Documentary Kiruna - Rymdvägen by Liselotte Wajstedt, a personal reflection on the relocating of her home town Kiruna due to threatening mining activities below, screens at the 7th international Northern Character Film & TV Festival 27-29 November 2014 in Murmansk, Russia.

Kiruna - Rymdvägen (Kiruna - Space Road) will be shown at the Film Festival Skábmagovatin northern Finland. The Festival takes place during the 31at of Januari and 4th Februari.

"Skábmagovat – Indigenous Peoples’ Film and TV Production Festival will celebrate its 15th anniversary in Inari, Finland, at the end of the polar night.

Along with Sámi films, the festival will present films made by other indigenous peoples. The pride of the Skábmagovat Festival, the Northern Lights Theater, will again be built from snow for the festival. In addition to the snow theatre, shows will take place in the Sámi Cultural Center Sajos and in the Sámi Museum and Nature Center Siida."

Kiruna - Rymdvägen's first Swedish screenings are in the section Swedish Images at the Gothenburg International FIlm Festval. Screening days and times: Sunday: 27/1 12.30 in Haga 1, Thuesday: 29/1 19.30 in Biopalatset 1, Friday: 1/2 17.30 in Biopalatset 1  - see the programme by clicking here.
