Synopsis
Tilia has just started her life, and death is very distant. She speculates on natural deaths as opposed to unnatural deaths and some strange deaths on television far away in Iraq and in Vietnam. There is no real ending in Tilias mind. She believes that we come to a heavenly train station with lots of destinations to choose from for a new life.
Director's Comment
The idea for the film springs from a personal confrontation with Death. One of my best friends died a sudden death, and everything just stopped. He was gone, but outside the world just went on as if nothing had happened. I also realized that other people found it difficult to handle what had happened, they didn’t know how to approach me, how to relate to the emptiness, the fear and the sorrow, and the fact that life actually goes on, whether you want it to or not.
