Joakim — The Golfer

Genre: Documentary | Format: 48 min
Director: Linnea Widén Riås | Camera: Markus Jordö
Producer: Anders Granström | A co-production between Sveriges Television and LittleBig Productions | Co-producer: Film Partner Iceland

Joakim Björkman has one dream: to compete as a professional golfer on the world stage. The fact that he has achondroplasia has never stopped him from swinging for it.

But golf is an expensive, unforgiving world — and Joakim carries more than just his clubs. Raised in a protective bubble that shielded him from society's gaze, he now faces the outside on his own terms: chasing sponsorship, navigating relationships, and confronting the parts of himself his upbringing kept hidden.

Joakim — The Golfer is a character-driven documentary about resilience, identity and the price of following your passion. Directed by Linnea Widén Riås, it follows one man's determined, vulnerable and at times darkly funny pursuit of a life lived fully — on and off the course.

When Icelandic villagers are captured by Barbary pirates in 1627 and sold into slavery in Morocco, a mother and daughter must fight to stay alive, stay together — and ultimately choose between freedom and fate.

In the summer of 1627, Gunnur, a young fisherman's wife, and her thirteen-year-old daughter Gríma are abducted from Iceland by Barbary privateers led by the notorious admiral Murat Reis — once the Dutch captain Jan Janszoon.

In Morocco, mother and daughter are torn apart. Gunnur is forced into the household of the man who killed her husband. Gríma is sold to his rival, the religious leader Al-Ayyashi — where, through resilience, intellect and courage, she forges a new identity in a world that was never meant to be hers.

As Gunnur plots survival and Gríma becomes someone new, their fates entwine with that of the formidable admiral — and the balance between captivity, freedom, and ambition is tested to the limit.

Sandra's Pledge

Genre: Crime | Format: 2 seasons × 8 × 45 min
Language: Swedish
Created by: Anna G. Magnúsdóttir, Per Tengblad & Anders Granström
Producers: Anna G. Magnúsdóttir, Anders Granström

Set within the exclusive world of competitive equestrian sport, Sandra's Pledge is a crime series where wealth, prestige and criminal undercurrents collide.

Sandra Bergenius is a fiercely committed equine vet returning to Sweden to open her own practice — the one person who moves freely between all disciplines, present at the most critical moments, trusted by all sides. Detective Marion is the one person determined to break that world open. When their paths collide, neither of them is prepared for what they find.

As Sandra begins to expose the criminal networks running beneath the polished surface of elite horse sport, her own past starts to unravel — and her uneasy alliance with Marion, built on mutual suspicion and grudging respect, becomes as central to the series as the crimes themselves.

England, 1085. Saga, a sharp young thief, is hired to interpret for Harald, a battle-scarred northman living on the fringes of the kingdom. Harald has no interest in being registered by anyone — least of all by William the Conqueror's Domesday Book. He humiliates the monk and sends him packing. Saga stays.

These two outsiders find in each other an instant and unlikely kinship. As Harald's defiance of the Crown escalates, their bond only deepens. The Berserker is an action film with the pace of a thriller and the heart of an unlikely family story.
