Synopsis

In 1960, the Twenty-First Party Congress declared socialism fully realized across the Soviet Union. That same year, six Latvian girls were born who began school together in 1967. By 1994, they are in their thirties with children of their own — all affected by the economic and political upheaval that followed the fall of the Soviet Union.
